WHY I’m RUNNING
I’m running for re-election as Secretary because my experience, proven results, and dedication equip me to be a strong advocate and resource for you, our DNC members, as we work together to build and strengthen the Democratic Party.
Serving as your DNC Secretary has been the privilege of a lifetime, and I’m proud of the progress we’ve made together since my first election in 2017. From strengthening our communications, ensuring responsiveness, and building stronger relationships with members, I’ve worked to ensure that the Office of the Secretary is a trusted advocate and resource for all DNC members.
The Secretary plays a pivotal and important role in the affairs and business of our Party. The work my team and I have done during the last two National Conventions—certifying over 5,000 participants and building a system to help more than 4,500 delegates nominate and vote for our Party’s nominee—ensured a smooth and seamless process for all delegates. These efforts would not have been possible without the incredible support and collaboration with state parties and their teams.
I’m proud of our progress in onboarding new DNC members and making their experience impactful from day one, as well as ensuring that following each meeting we send out a summary of what we accomplished so you can talk to your constituents about the work of the DNC. As Secretary, I’ve worked tirelessly to ensure members are supported, informed, and empowered to succeed.
But I know the work isn’t done.
We must continue to make the DNC more transparent, responsive, and accessible to all members. Looking ahead, I’m committed to expanding opportunities for member engagement and collaboration, both during and between our meetings, to ensure every voice is heard.
I believe we need to explore new ways to ensure our DNC meetings are more interactive and impactful, giving our members a chance to be heard as we discuss the important business of our Party. I want to enhance the tools and resources we provide to members, making it easier to share the DNC’s work with your communities and engage voters in every corner of our country.
Additionally, I will continue working to modernize our processes and operations, especially as we start planning for the 2028 National Convention, and find other innovative ways to support our members in building a Democratic Party that reflects our values and is prepared to win in the years ahead.
I’m ready to keep working for you to accomplish this and so much more. It would be an honor to continue serving as your DNC Secretary and to keep building a stronger, more inclusive Democratic Party that’s ready to win.
